Easter Fair 7th April 2007
Save Radley Lakes organised an Easter Fair on Saturday 7th April to raise funds for the Town Green Legal Fees which are committed to be spent. The Inquiry has adjourned until the end of June which gives some breathing space to raise the money needed to take this Application further.
NPower have said that the application has no merit, but the evidence so far has been to the contrary.
The Easter Fair enjoyed a good turnout of people. The cake stall was exceptionally busy and the home made soup, rolls and pizza provided a delicious lunch at reasonable prices for those people who attended later on.
Starting at 10.00am and finishing a 2.00pm the Fair raised a significant sum for the Campaign chest. People were most generous. One man paid £20 for a paperback book which was on offer for £0.50p.
The next event is the Hair and Beauty Evening on the 12th April.
